Unit 3
[Listen and Write]
Oceans make up a large part of the earth’s surface. All kinds of fascinating life form can be found in the oceans. Some plants are so small that you would need a microscope to see them. Other animals, like the blue whale, are enormous!
Scientists divide the oceans into four layers to study. Most life forms are found in the Sunlit Zone. The second layer, the Twilight Zone is colder and darker than the Sunlit Zone. The deeper you go into the ocean, the fewer life forms you will find.
Scientists have learnt much about oceans but the deepest layers of the oceans are still largely unexplored. Hence, they hide many mysteries and amazing creatures.

[Memorized Dictation]
