[Listen and Write]
1st September
Today was the first day of our new school year. My class teacher, Mr. Lau, asked our class to make a resolution .He said that it was a common practice that people make a firm decision to do or not to do something special at the beginning of the year. I wanted to be an independent learner. I would like to learn more new things through reading fiction and non-fiction books for entertainment and improve my language standards. I would also make use of the learning resources from the Internet. In doing this, I hope I can improve my listening skill. I can set aside some time every day to listen to kid stories, songs or radio programmes on-line. What’s more, I would try hard in using English to communicate with my teacher and friends. I can write articles on the blog and share with them.

Jade has already had her prosthetic legs. At first, she didn’t know how to walk with them and kept falling down. However, she has practiced hard and can now move around herself. She has also become more independent and can even dress herself. Her mother intends to take her to the park because she has never been there before.
