[Listen and Write]
Long ago in China, there lived a foolish man. He was big and strong and liked to walk in the forest. One day, however, he met a very fierce tiger with big, sharp teeth and long claws. He knew that he was in great danger. He ran out of the forest as fast as he could.
The foolish man soon got tired. He puffed and panted. The tiger was close behind him. He saw a tree and climbed up the tree.
The tiger prowled around the tree and growled with hunger. It waited for that foolish man to get tired and fall. The man soon felt tired. He fell down right onto the tiger’s back. He wrapped his legs and arms tightly around the tiger. The tiger could not shake him off. People gathered to watch as the tiger ran past.

There was a lonely giant who lived near a village. Everyone fled when they saw him. The giant was filled with sadness. One day, the village was attacked. The giant came to their rescue. The enemies tried to pierce and trap the giant but they were defeated. The villagers thanked the giant and were no longer afraid of him.
