Practice

 When you use the active voice, the person or thing that does the

   action is the subject of the sentence.

 e.g I  drank  the  milk.

  (subject)       (object)

 When you use the passive voice, the receiver of the action is the

   subject of the sentence.

 e.g  The  milk  was   drunk  by  me.

       (subject)                        (object)

    is / am/  are   +   past participle

 Example : The rubbish is collected every day.

                I am loved by my parents.

 

bulletPast Tense of Passive Voice
 was/  were   +   past participle

 Example : The rubbish was collected yesterday.

                The thieves were caught  by the police last night.

 

 

bulletPresent Perfect Tense of Passive Voice
 has/  have  +  been   +   past participle

 Example : The rubbish has been collected already.

                The milk has been drunk by the cat just now.
